Winter has finally come to the midwest. I have to say I was not the psyched about it. It is hard to get out there on a sub-freezing day. But the last two nights have been great. Yesterday was a simple three miler. Spent time on the prairie path which had a about a half inch of snow. There is nothing like running on snow, with the sun down but blue, orange dusk glowing through the leafless trees.
Tonight the same distance but the opposite direction. It was grey and cold. But it was still nice to be out there. I am glad I have the right gear to keep me warm in the 20F temps.
